Principal's Message

Welcome to Don Juan Avila Elementary School, home of the Eagles!

Educating Children Since 2000

A California Distinguished School

Our 2018-19 theme is: "Be a DJAES Hero!"

DJAES teachers and staff strive to provide students opportunities that meet the highest educational standards.  They work collaboratively in facilitating learning environments that guide our 'Eagles' as they Soar to Success and travel through the 21st Century to become global, lifelong learners.  Our goal is to build on each individual student's strengths through Creativity, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, and Communication.

DJAES Eagles "pledge to be Respectful, Responsible, and Ready all day and every day!"

DJAES is forever grateful for our PTA and supportive community.  Your time and dedication to our school enhance the learning opportunities for our children-our future. Thank you for being a part of the DJAES family.
